"It's Great to be a Government-Paid Missionary"
Michele Bachmann has jumped on the bandwagon with a webpage that takes Weinstein's words out of context and claims that "anti-Christian" activists are going to stop our soldiers from being able to practice their religion. (Warning, if you click on this page you will continue to get an ad every time you turn on your computer. Bachmann has apparently put some money into this.) Over 90 percent of the organization's 32,000 clients reaching out for help from MRFF are Christians themselves, just not the "right" kind of Christians according to some of their superiors and chaplains. The reality is that MRFF's clients and other men and women in uniform are the ones having their "religious liberties" violated. If you aren't familiar with the aggressive proselytizing taking place in the military please watch the following video. I will be writing over the next few weeks about other serious issues of religious harassment revealed by MRFF and information on some of the organizations targeting Weinstein. "It's great to be a government paid missionary," as you will hear in the following video.
This Goddiscussion.com article summarizes the video. For more on this topic, see the following links.
