Once again: Bishop Harry Jackson, Jr. is in Peter Wagner's Apostolic Council of Prophetic Elders
During the conversation, Schultz states that prophet Kim Clement, who had prophesied that Saddam Hussein 'would be found in a hole', had also met with president George W. Bush.
As Schultz introduces the "Prophetic TV" segment,
"Today we have Bishop Harry Jackson with us. Harry, we've gotten to know each other a great deal over the phone. We've met once before, and we basically have found that we have a lot in common. To begin with, we operate on the same prophetic team - I think we're both members of what we call the ACPE, which I believe stands for the Apostolic Council... (Jackson interrupts, "alphabet soup!") Apostolic Council of Prophetic Elders, something like that. But basically, what it means is we believe God is speaking to the church a lot today." Schultz was in fact dramatically downplaying what it means to be involved in ACPE, whose prophets claim especial ability to channel prophecy directly from God. Indeed, one of the tenets of the New Apostolic Reformation, in which in C. Peter Wagner's ACPE (it's now actually headed by Cindy Jacobs, of Generals International) plays a significant role, is that prophets such as the ACPE team can, in effect, write new scripture. It cannot, stresses Wagner, contradict Biblical scripture, but these divinely channeled prophetic messages, known as the Rhema word, can augment scripture. As I described in a May 2012 story, We Can Add New Teachings To The Bible, Says New Apostolic Reformation Leader Peter Wagner,
For any religious tradition with a heavily political bent, the ability to receive from God new teachings that have the force of scripture is powerful - for example, enemies can be targeted and demonized with ease. On February 3, 2008, C. Peter Wagner, perhaps the most significant leader in the movement he has named and played a key role in organizing, the New Apostolic Reformation, led a ceremony at the Everett, WA-based Sonrise Chapel near Seattle, for the commissioning of ICA apostle Dan Hammer as the chancellor of the newly-founded Wagner Leadership Institute Seattle. Prior to commissioning Hammer, Wagner declared that "the Holy Spirit still speaks to us today and we can hear from the Lord, and He gives us information, actually, that you can't find in any of the 66 books of the Bible--even though none of it contradicts the Bible."
