School Officials off the hook
This is troublesome- and the argument (because praying was something that had been done at the school for 20 years, it was a mistake when the principal asked the athletic director to lead in a prayer and the judge didn't think it was deliberate) just does not float. If it's been going on for 20 years, that is clear evidence of a long-term problem and being tolerant will only just encourage the behavior! Not only that, but since the judge had a video of the principal saying that he would not park his religion in the parking lot with his jeep. Well, excuse me- but if I was going to that school, I would not want HIS version of Christianity forced on me!!! The judge failed us and failed the constitution. I think someone should look into HER background- as prevalent dominionism is in this state (and especially in the Florida panhandle, where this took place), I wouldn't be surprised if SHE went to a dominionist church.
