SIGH... we've got those jerks who were parading Rifqa Bary around, proclaiming that she was in danger of being the victim of an "honor killing".  Never mind that the explanation they gave for honor killings was pure BS- the "honor" murders that happened were because the family thought the young woman or girl had DISHONORED the family.  Now it seems that the dominionists are upping the ante by having their kids wear t-shirts that are obviously meant to offend Muslims.  I truly think they're trying to start a war with those who follow Islam.

I may not agree at all with Mohammad and Islam, but insulting and offending people is absolutely counterproductive and even stupid.  Like the jackleg preachers we have so many problems with on Campus, they may THINK they're doing God's work- but anything that drives people from Christ cannot be from God (and I've seen this happen several times!)  They may be trying to stir up ant-Muslim sentiment- but then if they succeeded in getting Muslims to leave, who is next?  African Americans?  Native Americans?  Jews?  

They remind me of all the (true) horror stories about missionaries and the harm missionaries generally do.

It seems that they forget that Muslims are people just like them, and that God loved Mohammad (just as God loves everyone).  Or, has that teaching been removed from their version of the Bible and from what they learn in Church???

SIGH.  I think this is part of the move to push this country into Fascism... instead of the Jews being the Boogieman (and I expect if they succeed, Jews will be next), this time around the Fascist boogieman is the Muslims.

I'm glad that the schools cracked down on this.  They were absolutely in the right to do so.
