Rifqa Bary to stay in Florida
Rifqa Bary is no longer staying with the preacher. IMO, that's good news- from the first time I heard about this situation, I had strong reservations about the goals of the preacher. I suspected that the girl had been caught by love-bombing, and was undergoing programming to support dominionist goals. If the foster family is not dominionist, it is possible that the programming will fade and Rifqa's mind will start clearing- and then she can make her choices freely, rather than being coerced or manipulated to a questionable end by people who do NOT have her best interests at heart. What is especially revealing is that the "Florida Security Council" (goal of group- "securing Florida against terror") is very involved in this case- and their language is militant and bigoted. I strongly suspect that this entire episode is an attempt by the dominionists to stir up anti-Muslim hate AND to offend the Muslim community... and to try to bring about violence. I see little difference between dominionism and militant Islamism- they are very similar in many ways. Both seem to want to stir up trouble and force their ideology on others- even upon those who follow their religion. For people who claim to follow the Prince of Peace, these people sure are offensive and willing to cause outrage.
