Isaiah 32 5-8
<Isaiah 32 5-8> <"The vile person shall be no more called liberal, nor the churl said [to be] bountiful.> <For the vile person will speak villany, and his heart will work iniquity, to practise hypocrisy, and to utter error against the LORD, to make empty the soul of the hungry, and he will cause the drink of the thirsty to fail.> <The instruments also of the churl [are] evil: he deviseth wicked devices to destroy the poor with lying words, even when the needy speaketh right.> <But the liberal deviseth liberal things; and by liberal things shall he stand."> <Isaiah 32 5-8 King James Version> <More "modern" version's of the Bible have changed the wording. These are the newer versions that simply couldn't cope with the original. So..they alter the "word" in order to fit their political orientation. However the one version that is the standard by which all others are judged is the King James Version. This is Gods view according to Isaiah as it appears in the KJV. There's a striking difference, in fact a total contradiction in the way that God views the Liberal, and the way that conservatives view the Liberal. Who's right? God or the Conservative? The demonization of Liberals by right wing fanatics who claim moral superiority by throwing the Bible in everyones face, contradicts the word of God.> <What I find totally hypocritical by those that wave the Bible in peoples face and have the audacity to demand everybody pay attention to their beliefs, is that they have this habit of attacking Liberals as the source of all their problems. They rarely if ever meet the standards they set for everyone else and then claim that those that point that out are Christian Bashers. Well, I'm sorry but all religions are an idea. A philosophy based on beliefs. It's not a race. So those ideas are open to criticism just as any idea would be. More so, if those promoting those ideas are attempting to legislate on behalf of those ideas. Liberals are the conservatives scapegoat. In that regard, Liberals must of course be evil, and evil of course is equated with Satan himself, hence the demonization of all things Liberal, even after evidence of what they condemn is actually a desirable attribute according to God through the prophet Isaiah as found in the very book that conservatives claim to use as a guide to their lives. A Liberal mind is open to infinate possibilities. A conservative mind is not. It's wrapped in a closed system. It assumes it's position is correct without the possibility of error. A Liberal knows that he could be wrong. He accepts the possibility of error.> <The words of Isaiah, in any context would resonate as well. It goes on to say "And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever". Isaiah 32: 17 That's also a universal statement. It doesn't require context. it's also another Liberal concept. Burn the village in order to save it is a conservative concept, and yet the Liberal is the spawn of Satan, and the source of evil. They love terrorists and jihadists, they hate America. You've certainly seen what I'm talking about. Pointing out the fallacy of Chistian conservative judgement only brings about more hatred for those that point to it.> <Politically, Liberalism began with the Enlightenment. It's the philosophy that this country was founded on. And the fundimental core values are those found to be the opposite of those condemned in Isaiah, and called Liberal in Gods own words. We can easily see the meaning at the heart of Isaiah 32 and exactly what he meant when he condemned the very opposite of the Liberal. There is no escaping the fact of the demonization of Liberals by conservatives. It's everywhere.> <A Liberal philosophy founded this very country. It came from Locke, and Voltair, and Hobbes, and Jefferson, and Madison. We must hold on to our history, and never surrender to any alter, especially an alter of lies.>
