Prisons Purging Books on Faith From Libraries

There is more between the lines in this New York Times article than there is said directly, but it should raise many red flags with those on this site familiar with the Dominionist agenda.

I very strongly suspect that there is far more going on than the report tells, but beyond that, it raises issues that would not even occur to those who are oblivious to rights trammeled already, and the announced goals of the theocracy minded.
Suppose for a moment that Blackwater decided to buy up some private prisons, declare as corporate privilege all and any attempt at oversight, and further obscure their activities by hiring a Dominionist  wholly owned 501-C3 creature to manage religious services of all types.

How many bad outcomes would be possible in such a situation? And just how unlikely is such a situation? Given how quiet and secret everything is is there a way to discover if they are not doing so already? Is there any legislation (beyond an unenforced first amendment) that can or should make such a situation impossible?
