Last week, James Dobson endorsed a sermon that blamed "lesbian sex" for God's "abandonment" of America, and justified destruction of a U.S. city by God.
On the June 4 edition of his Focus on the Family radio show, Focus on the Family founder and chairman James C. Dobson broadcast a sermon by John MacArthur, pastor of Grace Community Church in Sun Valley, California, titled "A Nation Abandoned by God." In the sermon, MacArthur said America had forsaken God and engendered the "wrath of abandonment" as a result. MacArthur declared: "You know a society has been abandoned by God when it celebrates lesbian sex." MacArthur further argued that as a result of America's abandonment, the destruction of a major U.S. city "could happen" and that "God would be just in any calamity he brought upon us."

Where in the Bible is there any prohibition against lesbianism?

Dobson is a control freak. Misogynistic ideation and behavior is a hallmark of control freaks, and pathological sexual deviants. When I say deviants I am not talking about homosexuality, or sexual role playing, fantasy sex, wife swapping, sexual solicitation, or infidelity. I am talking about rape, serial murder, and child molestation. None of these are sexual per se they are an acute form of domination which punishes the victims sexualness as a means to exact submission and uses the perpetrators sexualness as a weapon there is no consensuality, no wish to get close, no love, it is the exact opposite it is extreme objectification and alienation that allows the perpetrator to commit the act.
Sexual deviants are control freaks as are racists and bigots. Racism, bigotry, misogyny share  much pyschopathy in common. People who are afflicted are generally sexually insecure and repressed. They are highly moralistic both out of anger about their insecurity, and to hide behind it. They make themselves feel normal by being contemptuous of normal behavior. They rationalize their psychopathy with groundless, illogical, irrational and often times bizarre arguments... marriage is only between a man and a woman it is a covenant that is sanctified by God. Gay marriage is an abomination, gay is an abomination. Blacks are lazy dullards made black by God when he punished the canaanites. Women are merely an appendage of men since God made her of Adams rib and they are temptresses for tricking Adam into eating the forbidden fruit, they are subordinate to men, here to serve men, are the chattel of men, and are unclean. Irish are drunk pagan breeders. Otherness and objectification consume the control freaks, because there is a self imposed wall between them and humanity. They hate themselves so thoroughly their is nothing that emanates from them except seething judgementalism and the well practised thin veneer of social etiquette, and glad handing. They love their egos stroked which is why they gravitate towards power.
In the case of Dobson, being a preacher's not enough, being a counselor's not enough. He needs to feed the empty cores of psychopaths like himself to get stroked and gain power through hundreds of radio stations world wide. He justifies it by calling it spreading God's word. All he is really doing is diminishing people who love, who care and who think, by smearing them and feeding the dark pathos in those who listen to him.
God's word is not to control other people, it is not to persecute, punish, besmirch, and destroy other people. God's word is love.
