"Even Retarded Circus Bears Have More Sense"
That's what religious right blogger and Family Research Council staffer Joe Carter, says ( among other things) about the participants in the Blog Against Theocracy this past weekend.
Bene Diction Blogs On has summarized the highlights, or lowlights, depending on how you look at it, of Carter's rant for us. Personally, I go with highlights for a reason I will explain below. |

- a bizarre anti-intellectual niche for themselves.
- it is impossible to take these people seriously
- crack-pot conspiracy theories
- are they really that stupid or is the hyperventilating hyperbole just for effect

- a prime example of the type of tin-foil hat wearing paranoia
- we should feel free to call a moron a moron
That they are reduced to such silly name calling -- I take as a very good sign. |
