Petraeus replaces McChrystal
While I know very little about McChrystal, at the same time I'm concerned about this move. It makes me wonder if they know of Petraeus and his connections in the White House. Why him of all people? This could become a real problem in Afghanistan, especially as (unless McChrystal is worse) it provides propaganda for the militant Islamists. It seems that President Obama is tolerating the dominionists, in spite of the threat they pose to freedom. In fact, I sometimes wonder (because of his reluctance to move against them) that he might be a closet dominionist himself. It's hard to imagine that, but the fact is, they're a real threat and nobody is doing much about them (except for those on the internet- and we're usually labeled as conspiracy nuts in spite of the evidence).
I am curious as to the ramifications about this. I know very little about the military (just enough to know I would never fit in), but this has got to have some sort of effect.
