School Board, State and school prayer

Now both the Polk County School Board and the state of Florida are trying to push prayers in the schools!
In the news this morning, there were two troubling news articles- one where the Polk County School Board is REQUESTING prayers, and the other where a law is being pushed in the state of Florida that would promote prayers at public events (and IMO, protect dominionist youth who would use "prayer" to promote dominionist ideologies and proselytize!)

We need to watch this stuff- and people need to be aware that these actions could lead to theocracy.  Separation of church and state does NOT mean persecution of Christians like I've heard those twits say time and time again.  It means that they cannot force their religion on others.
