AP on Conservative Catholic Bloggers
Thomas Peters, who runs the popular "AmericanPapist" blog... began his blog several years ago and now works for the American Principles Project, a conservative advocacy group founded by Princeton University scholar Robert George. In fact, Peters is the Communications Director of the American Principles Project, as well as its staff blogger. George, of course, has been a leading Religious Right strategist for many years. (See George of the Neo-Con Jungle Part 1 and Part II). A 2009 New York Times Magazine profile of George described him as "this country's most influential conservative Christian thinker."
It may well be that the Catholic wing of the Religious Right is poised to become a force in the blogosphere.
