Over the years as I have monitored the antics of the Radical Religious Right (RRR) I have seen them make many outrageous statements some of them out right lies such as this one.

For Perkins to state the "Left" mounted electoral campaigns is so outrageous it borders on ludicrous.

In this case, I think by "Left" he meant the gay, lesbian, bixexual and transgendered communities(glbt).

I don't recall any glbt person circulating a petition to put anything on the ballot in the three states concerning marriage or in Arkansas concerning adoption.

No, the electoral process was instituted by the minions of the RRR so if the FRC had to spend a few extra bucks to inform any citizen about "counterfit marriage" it has only people and organizations of the RRR to blame.

I know, I should not be shocked at anything the various members of RRR say but I find this letter a perfect example of what went on in the Yes On Prop 8 campaign which told so many outright lies and twisted the truth so badly.

The economic crisis in our country is causing many good organizations to cut back on their staffs and goals, let us hope the crisis will also affect the organization of the RRR and they too will have to slow down on their agenda bigotry and discrimination.
